Default Uk vs Jdm blob eye insurance costs

Afternoon everyone

Just looking in to Wrx Sti ownership

Im looking in to insurance costs , been back through forum posts & got a few online quotes to test the water.

What are people currently paying for Insurance

I'm keen to see how the Import compares with Uk on insurance price

Im 30 with 11ncb and my last 4 cars have been high performance , what sort of costs should I be looking at? The quotes I've been getting are expensive compared to what I've paid in the past.

cheers

Mike

Lots of variables, postcode....yearly mileage....modifications... etc phone around. Keith Michael's is usually very competitive.

I found it very difficult a few years ago trying to insure my Jdm. Many companies didn't want to know. And area can make a huge difference.

Thanks for the replys , I will get comparative quotes for both the uk and jdm, it will come down to how much more the jdm is to insure.

Hi.
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance for either a UK or import if you wish.

I have a JDM 05 STi and the best quote I got was from direct line.

£240 Fully comp all mods declared wife as a second driver hands down beat all other quotes.

I tried all the recommended , from Adrian flux to paceward and couldn't get anything better.

Keith Michael's was a minimum £300 policy as told on the phone while offering them my business.

One thing i notice was that it was stupid expensive for the first year no matter what cars i had previously or ncbs.
Unless you had a subaru last year they will screw you.
Im with classic line.
