Greenlight Insurance - products to reward drivers covering lower annual mileage
Hi Everyone,
Over the last two years we've added several products to our existing performance car Insurance range that are specifically designed to reward drivers for reduced road exposure.
We'd quietly gone about our business in this way, but with the popularity of these offers - which reward reduced road exposure and where you're free from an at fault claim can mirror our equivalent percentage for any NCB years you have in use on your main vehicle.
In a similar approach to how you manage your mobile phone inclusive minutes, these products are based around providing reduced premiums for policyholders who cover less than average road miles and are able to manage their road miles to opt for a reduced but realistic annual mileage banding.
These products start at 1000 miles per annum, with the main mileage bandings as follows:
1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7500
Should you get near to exceeding the mileage, you simply pay a top up to the next banding in the event that your circumstances change and you require additional mileage (with the maximum annual mileage available under these products being 15,000).
Whilst all drivers can benefit from a limited mileage policy, as you're effectively only paying for the miles that you intend to use.
This is particularly useful for drivers living within city postcodes who do not commute with their vehicle, or where you have access to another (company/work/everyday) vehicle.
