Fits the standard head unit and allowes you to interface your ipod with the standard unit. Coming out of my Bug this weekend hopefully when I fit a new ddin unit with a lead for the ipod already provided. I ran the wire to my glove box - it goes in to the rear of the unit, and install is, a doddle, as long as you have some screwdrivers.
