I've got a DNX7260BT head unit in my car and I'm looking to see if there's a reasonable source of map updates. I'm finding the full updated maps online at nearly £170 which seems outrageous when you can pick up a stand alone unit for less.

The main reason I'm looking for the update is an error on the mapping of the road to my house that sends you on a 7 mile detour to get there. The stupid thing is that the 50 or so yards of road that are missing are hundreds of years old, it's by no means a new development.

Can anyone point me to a source or is it just a case of liking it or lumping it?

If I remember correctly you can get the maps off the kenwood site for free. I've got a dnx5210bt and can't update the maps because I don't have a USB lead coming out the back of my head unit but when I was looking to try and update the maps I found them on there site.
