How easy is it to fit a new stereo with CD autochanger to my MY99 scooby? Can I do myself, or should I get someone better qualified to do it? I wanto to buy a bog standard Kenwood stereo with autochanger - any ideas where to go where I can get it fitted as well? Halfords is about 20% more expensive.

Caraudiodirect.co.uk i think
fitting is easy - having said that i have fitted a few in the past - I can fit for you as a reasonable price.
Changer for the boot means that the whole rear seat assembly needs to be removed along with the the plastic trim from to rear.....

maz, its a piece of p$£s - I've put my kenwood md hu in recently, and even the dimmer connection was in the right place! I assume you've got the philips bit of tack in there; if so you'll find that the iso connectors will simply plug straight into the ones that should come with the new unit.
