does anybody know if the door speakers on the my00 are a standard size??? (if so, what?)

also, are they easy to replace for a total diy novice??? (anything complicated in it or anything?)

thanks!

I'm interested in finding this out too!

I've read that they are 13cm speakers(both front and rear), and would like recommendations on what people think are the best as straight replacments.

Cheers

6" (a sort of standard ) & it's easy as long as you only use 6"! This is different to 6.5", which may work (but only may!) but isn't guaranteed!
I think the thingy to connect to the speaker spades might be different as well, bu I can't remember
Have a look at Chiark's site for everything you need to know about doing the job!

Infinity 605cs are a direct replacement for the mid unit - they are a component set so you need to fix the crossover and tweeter. This is fairly straightforward and gives a huge improvement in sound. Even better if you run them off an amp...

I followed Chiark's site for fitting.
