I've had my SUK dealer fit the standard tweeter kit from new on my MY99, but there is hardly any sound coming from them.

I wonder if they have been fitted correctly, e.g. perhaps no perforated grill has been fitted, and the plastic one there is a blanking panel, hence muffling the sound.

Can someone please describe the appearance of their fitted standard tweeter kit, and whether the sound is clearly audible.

Have a look behind the door panels were your door release catch is and make sure the tweeter has been mounted properly as there is a small metal L piece behind on which you can either screw one screw too or hot glue the tweeter if it has dropped you will bearly hear it.

Play a bright recording and turn the bass down and treble up and balance it over to either side this may help.

It depends on how loud you think they should be.

Whilst listening to some tunes, cover the tweeter with your hand. You should be able to hear the difference although it isnt a major difference since you still have 3 other speakers producing treble.
