My car came with a Kenwood mask head unit and a changer in the boot, it didn't come with a manual.

Today the c.d seems to of stopped working, all I get on the display is the word "AUX". Is it fooked? or am I doing something wrong as usual?

This message isn't listed in the manual.

Try checking the cable connecting the changer to the Head unit. I've had some trouble with this working loose over time and causing problems.

 

My Kenwood manual for a KRC579 says if AUX appears on the display without the use of an AUX in connection, it needs to be taken to a service outlet.

 

Aux appears when you have an aux input. This is available as an add-on...

...if it appears when your CD changer is connected, something's wrong . Try resetting the head unit, then check all the cabling at the back of the head unit at at the back of the cd changer.

Problem solved. The lead needed unplugging at the changer and then plugging back in again. Whirred back into life

It's not on a scooby, it's on an evo.
