As above has anyone fitted a Kenwood KCA-IP500 IPod adaptor to their standard head unit?, if so how do you find it to use etc??

Works ok, but doesn't display album and track info on the head unit. You need a head unit with cd text facility. If you can put up with that, its a good unit.

Yes, fitted one to the standard Kenwood head unit on my MY07 STI and it works fine.

As stated above the only downside is that the head unit doesn't display the track info but you can use the buttons to switch between tracks/albums OK.

I got one off ebay for about £35 and am happy with it. Easy to fit too.

Looks like its going to be similar to the adaptor I used in the Audi with standard head unit!
