Default dvd parking switch on kenwoow ddx 5022

i put my stereo in my 2002 sti but the dvd will not work as it says parking off. i didnt connect the parking sensor wire. the instructions show it going to the handbrake switch. could some one tell me where exactly the switch is, and could i just run a live wire to this instead with an inline switch.
cheers

Just use an earth from the ISO plug, a black wire.

thanks mate. i assume you mean connect the switch wire from the stereo to an earth on the stereo iso and it will override the handbrake function,

Thats right. Just an earth will do. The handbrake thing is for health and safety I suppose.
