Where do i start

I bought a cd player from halfords for £200 in March - It just died on me.

I went into the store an they said they needed a receipt which i lost so i got a credit card receipt which they said " nope we need the proper receipt".

I phoned Customer services an they said the same. The lad i sold the car to i gave him the recipt my mistake so i got it back an went back to halfords an asked for a replacement.

They said " no its after 28 days so we HAVE to send ti away for repair". Which will take 7-14 days.

I checked my statutory rights online which said i was entitled to a replacement or money back if the repair caused me annoyance in the time it would take (cant mind the word lol)

I then phoned headoffice an complained about this an they stuck to their guns saying they HAVE to repair it and wont replace it after 28days

So i just gave in an gave them it. 5 weeks on still no repair. Then i phone headoffice an complain. They call the store to which they call me an advise they "lost" my cd player.

I then get quite annoyed BUT the store gave me store credit for another CD player. There was none the same price an i asid i would NTO pay any extra they said pick any an they will pay the difference if its not major. I picked one for £230 so they paid an extra £35.

So all in all done let them mess you about. I did
