I know that this is a subaru site, but I have a problem that Im sure one of you will know. I do own a STI WRX by the way :-)

Ive just brought a Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia. 1 owner, 70K miles(real), FSH. Got all the bells and toys and it is spottless. I brought it for 400 quid.

Its got one of those standard ford radio's with amp in the dash, but when I switch it on, it wants a code ? Anyone know of a cheat to get round this ? No code id came with the car. Anyone know where I can get the answer / sorted ?

Ford dealer could probably help, if the radio is original, or you could buy a new radio to go with your flash new car

Depends on the model.
Some Ford garages will reset it for you if you can prove it's yours.
You could try sticking it in the Freezer overnight. I've heard this works, as it causes the unit to reset to factory defauls.
Make sure you wrap it in a poly bag first, and let it aclimatise to room temperature again for at least 8 hours before you power it up.

Are Ford stereos like their keys then? One key fits all?
