Question

I'd like to fit a CD autochanger in the boot of our 97 Sport.

Am I likely to encounter any problems feeding the cable from the autochanger to the headunit ?

Having had a poke about at the weekend I think I'll have to run the cable round the edge of, then through the split rear seat, under the lower part of the rear seat then under the carpet to the front of the car.

At the moment I think I'm going have to remove the lower section of the rear seat and loosen the rear part of the centre console (the cubby hole bit behind the handbrake).

Is there anything under there I should be careful of ? So far I can see 2 bolts on the seat and 2 screws on the rear sides of the console. Are there captive nuts on the other side of these fixings ?

Is there a better way to do this ?

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Neil

Wink

Neil,

I did mine that way. The only trouble I had was routing it just in front of the rear seat. Reason being, there is a nice foam block there that is a bugger to get the cable round. Once you are past that though it's plain sailing
