has anyone got 1?im not too sure if they have come out yet or not!they are suppose to be due out this month though

 

Been looking at them today on Audiodirect.co.uk today and think they look pretty good. Seems they are dedicated Ipod / USB and dont even have CD mechanism, which would suit me.
Went into Halfords at Team Valley, Gateshead but they'd never heard of it.
Might splash out on one as I'm looking to put in head unit, new speakers and maybe amp and sub.
Can buy it online for a great price (£229) but not sure if I can do the install, thats why I went to Halfords. Might check out Autosounds Ncl next week.

Any chance anyone knows anybody in Bishop Auckland / North East area who does installs even if I didnt buy the stuff from them ???

The X-001 is on sale in Halfrauds fro £229 as well..........

 

Don't get the 100 and 001 confused - 100 has been out for a while and you can get these cheaper, 001 has just been released but will be closer to 300 pounds.

 

What's the main differences between the 100 and 001, and would a non audiophile such as me know them?

I've just ordered this stereo with the bluetooth kit, will be fitted on the 3rd into my van. I'll report on how much I like it after that.

 

have just fitted the X001 in my daugther's car , very nice

 

Loving this head unit, all functions work as they should and the sound, even from some of my lower bit rate files is fantastic. The bluetooth kit works well with my iPhone, even downloads the phone book.

 

I've had both, only differences are to the looks and changes to the way the jog dial and enter button works, easier and more intuitive on the 100
