I have fitted my alpine into the hawkeye but the old centre pocket which I had from my MY03 STI just wont fit into the pocket and stay there, do I need a different one for a MY06?

 

I installed a new HU this weekend and used a standard pocket from halfords. Fitted perfectly in the brackets and looks bloody great IMO! Not bad for my first effort

 

Jacey - just did the same as you ( from MY02 to MY06) - ended up using a zip tie to secure this forester pocket. I never needed it on my MY02 as it had an extra bracket underneath the doubsle din standard unit
