I have a MY98 4dr
Can anyone help me? Where is the best place, other than under the parcel shelf, to put a disc changer in the boot. Taking note not to drill holes into any cables fuel lines etc.

Mines in the spare wheel well, fixed to an mdf board. Works quite well with only the ocassional skip when i'm cornering hard. Do a search as someone had done this and posted some pics up.

Cheers for the direction Charlie but the Sony 10 disc is a little bit on the fat size to fit within the spare wheel. I have checked out the search page and looking at under the front seat
Cheers

Mine fits ok? You would have to swap the spare wheel retaining nut for a standard one (I keep a socket set in the car anyway, so this isn't a problem) Cut a peice of mdf the same diameter as the spare wheel lip and mount the cd player underneath. Mine is the 601 10 disc changer and it seems to fit ok.
I have no visible leads or autochanger to get bashed by shopping etc.
Mine wouldn't fit under the front seat very well. Too much like a tight fit for my liking but it's a matter of preferance I suppose
Good luck either way
