How to fit 6x9s?
I am just wondering what wiring is required to fit a set of 6x9s and how should they be connected?
I am a complete novice and have never fitted any 6x9s before, I've heard that you should just run them off rear speaker connections if you aren't running them off an amp.
These are to be fitted in a Pug 206, wrong forum I know, I just want to get the jist of things before I have a bash at fitting them. The 6x9s are already installed in a stealth shelf, they just need connecting.
Any info on what wiring is required and method to power them would be much appreciated.
Cheers

ideally they should be amped to get the most out of them. You dont need to have a huge amp but it will improve the quality of the sound.
They connect like any other speaker (positive and negative to like terminals)
And may I suggest if you will amp them, then get some decent speaker cable for them too.
