taking out an OE addzest stereo ?

Default taking out an OE addzest stereo ?

i askked in the ice section first but didnt get a reply so trying here
i need to take the stereo out to fit a radio frequancy (spelling )expander ,cant see any obvious way to remove it
any ideas

On my 93 wrx it went like this......


remove gear ****, remove gear gaiter, undo screws on gearstick surround, pull out cup holders, unscrew screws behind cup holders, remove ashtray, un-clip ashtray light connector, pull out entire thing...stereo, gauges and unscrew stereo from metal cage/holder.

Can't remember what else but at least it'll give you a start
