Default Tom Tom Sat Nav Help

Got a Tom Tom 1 Sat Nav.

It's 18 months old so, out of warranty.

It's just started misbehaving.

The voice keeps on comming/going.

Tried changing the voice and Test, nothing. Adjusting the volume, liked to the car speeed etc nothing.

Rest it, nothing.

Sometimes, if I hit the off/on button at a certain angle the sound comes back on.

Don't find the Web Page useful.

Any Whizz People got any ideas??

Any tips gratefully accepted.

Thanks for your help.

Regards.

Isn't there a reset button on these things? Think you need a paper clip to press it on the back.

Hi Alan - had the same thing with my TomTom 910- not the end of the world, as has previously been said there's a tiny reset button on the back you poke in with a paperclip - that sorted mine out. Hope that helps... Dan.

I work at Halfords PT, whilst doing my degree :runs and hides:
So yeah you should have a 2 year guaruntee. Just a quick thought, it's not something daft, e.g you have got the sound up and voices on and activated etc.?
