Question

I think this is the plastic liner in the door when bass is heavy.

Just fitted focus 6.5" component set which is amplified and so has much more power than before.

Anyone got any good tips or is it just a case of taping it all down?

Cheers
Paul

Foam seems to be a good way of doing this - I'll dig out John's post and put a link to it.

Unless he beats me to it?

Get a load of these - last one is the one you are looking for. Jon is our recent FAQ writing hero and has taken a mixture of all our suggestions and his own wisdom/bitter experience/skinned knuckles etc and put them all together:

Cheers guys - I will be inserting foam into the doors at the weekend!

Chiark - great FAQ which I used to fit head, changer amp and car phone kit and speaker sets.

Did wish I took one of the first bits of advice and did not consider 'having a go myself' at fitting at one time, but was dead chuffed with myself when it all worked in the end.

Thanks for all the help - it only took 16hrs in the end!!!!!!!(front 6.5 components fitting mainly). Seats out job to fully dynamat and foam under carpets and in doors etc.
