Hi,
Anybody allready fitted a Kenwood MASK headunit in the MY01/02
double din dash?
Dealer told it wouldn't fit at all. I saw a lot of single-din
headunits and maybe there are people wit experience of the MASK
series?
Any Pictures or info?
THANKS!

Ptholt,
Thanks for your comments, but indead I wanna know for the MY01/02. In my ex-MY99 it fitted perfectly, but that is as you wrote an Euro-Version with single-din.
Anybody else??

I've got one fitted. Had it done professionally. The unit is fitted at the top with a blanking plate covering the hole.
If I can get some small guages I reckon they'd look the biz fitted in the blanking plate.
The silver surround has had to be cut in order to get the extra width of the player in.
Kenwood system is hooked up to a S210 changer box running a cd changer and mstation. The mstation controls are fitted in the little coin well in front of the ashtray.

I've got a PS971R in my my99 sti5.
Was a complete pain in the backside to fit tho.
I had to cut parts of the silver surround in the sti then use lots of washers to get the thing to sit in there straight.
But if you got a euro car with single din slot i don't think there should be as many problems as i had.
just realised u said 01/02 DOH - will try to read it all first next time
