Single din blanking plate??
I have been looking every where for a single din blanking plate (Black) to fit in the gap which has been left from where i took the Jap double din out and replaced it with a UK single din head unit.
I made the mistake of going to Halfords who after a lot of ordering the wrong parts couldn't find one to fit in the space. The ones they had were all to big. My car is a 1995 WRX STI RA with the cup holders at the top then a nice space where i need a blanking plate. It needs to roughly be 4.8cm X 17cm.
Hope you chaps can help me as ICE is definately not my strong point.
Thanks Chris

You can fit a single din pocket with spring loaded front flap that is a great match to existing fascia, I bought one from Subaru dealer, it is fitted to the forester and some new imprezas and cost me £33. The side brackets that hold the stereo in place need two 5mm holes drilling to fit correctly but is easy to do. There is pics on here somewhere of fitment.

My mate got one from Halfords, it was not a blanking plate as such as they do not do them but a single din pocket, it fitted really well and also has small groves on the inside for 3 cd cases if you wish to use it for that, he just uses it as an extra space to keep the empty chrisp packets!!!
