Time has come for me to sell my beloved MTX 8500 12s. i just finished building the custom ported box in accordance to mtx's specs. they are lovely subs that cost me £500 a piece last year.

anyone that knows MTX knows the sound quality and the bass these woofers are capable of. they are rated at 500 rms each but they have to be heard to be believed, these are seriously under rated subs they can handle 500rms per voice coil safely, and with the correct amp and power will hit 140db+
I ran these subs with a DLS ultimate A6 amp and the sound was just incredible, it has to heard to be appreciated i can give u a sound off / full demo if wanted

one of the subs has a scratch on the face where the wiper motor rattled loose and fell on it. there is no serious damage to the face only the paint has been scratched and doesnt affect the performance at all.

im asking for £220 for the perfect sub with the box and £200 for the one with a scratch. buyer will have to collect as each sub and box weigh nearly 50 kg!!. i will give a demo to reassure you of their capability. im located in north london

Please note the boxes will need carpeting as i havnt got round to it yet but they can also be easily be painted..
