Default BEST HEADUNIT FOR £200

Looking to buy a headunit for my 2002 WRX to replace the standard unit.

Considering this double din Kenwood Kenwood DPX501U Double Din CD / MP3 / USB player - Kenwood DPX-501U - CD & CD / MP3 / WMA Players - Car Audio Centre

has anyone got this? is the sound quality any good??

I normally like going with Pioneer units but any recommendations are welcomed

Cheers

Hi m8, you could always go down the single din route.

I have just installed an Alpine 9850ri (ipod) and that cost me around £160,

I never have any cd trouble again.

Oh point to note though, if you have windows vista at home then updating your play lists on the ipod is a nightmare. I tried it and now im back to XP pro and it works a treat.

Cheers

Kenwoods have decent sound quality, although they may mot be up there with the best Alpines & Pioneers.

One thing it has got going for it is that as it is a double DIN size it will run cooler and should therefore be more reliable.

if you are after a single with ipod attachment, try Kenwood KDC-W808
