Kenwood DDX6029 I Pod porblem
Hi Guys.
Just purchased a
Kenwood DDX6029 - Screen, DVD, Every thign unit....
Also
KCA Ip500 - I Pod conector unit.
The Cd, DVD, Radio all work fine, but i get no option for a IPOD or external Device. Looked and Looked and i Looked.... No Joy.
Any ideas guys?

Might be worth checking to make sure you have plugged the Ipod interface in to the right socket(CD changer), you may have hooked it up to the sat nav connection which I think is an identical plug.

Your a star, i had put it in the NAV Input how silly of me... There are other wires too, i didnt relise the connector wa son the back of the unit and not a wire off the loom, All working now Just need to locate a nice place for the Ipod to sit

Isn't that for the proprietry Dension kit though? I think all we're after is a unit that either comes with an iPod interface on an cable extension or a holder and clamp that will hold an existing iPod lead.
