Powering Up - Cable
Hi everyone ?
Got a uk spec classic impreza 2000 which i got afew months ago but the standard sound system sound really poor so i havent listened to any music nor the radio.
I've just fited a new system & speakers & also trying to install a AMP but came across a problem..
The problem is i am trying to get power from the battery to the AMP which is in the boot! Now ive tryed looking around of a way to get to the batter to the amp & cant find a way around it for the cable to go thru any gap's or space in my impreza
Do impreza have a root within them for me to get to the battery ?
Can anyone help me out? Also has anyone else had this problem before?
Some pictures & your views to help me out clearly PLS !
Cheers

if you take a look down the right side of your intercooler, there is a blanking plug(like a rubber gromit)this will allow access to the cockpit via the rear of the dash board up under the glove box
After you get you live feed through, simply clip loose the /plastic rub strips along the door sill and feed through, repeat this on the rear door sill trim
now you live should be next to the back seat, unbolt the lower section of the back seat(two bolts and lift out),now feed the cable through under the upper part of the rear seat into the boot
dont forget to run your audio leads and remote lead down a differant route to stop interferance, just repeat down the other side of the car
hope this helps

It's a rubber blanking grommet, about 50mm x25mm, oval-ish, and is used on some cars to let the aircon pipes through. It's on the bulkhead, n/s about 300mm below the winscreen edge. Sorry, no pics.
You can still use it, even with aircon.
DON'T forget a fuse in the lead, close to the battery
