Simple, yet effective.
Well ive always wanted one of these about as long as ive wanted a scoob - about 4 years.
One dream was fullfilled a couple of weeks back, so it was time to do the other!
Totally awesome bit of kit, fits like a dream, including the kt-100 bluetooth kit that works perfect with my nokia n73, all the phone book just a press of the touch screen away. with sound through the head unit speakers. love it.

Welcome to ask what ever ya like.
This is the model - Kenwood DDX 6029
clicky clicky
I bought its for £430 from an ebay ICE Clearance shop. Though if you 'froogle' (Froogle) its not much more online anyways.
Was very easy, unbolt the old one, bolt in the new one.
I did it when i was totally pissed. Not quite plug and pray, i had to buy a Subaru - ISO adapter from Halfrauds.. something anyone would have to do when changing a head unit in these cars.
Once i bought that, it was just a case of bolting in and plugging up.
The standard unit doesnt sound bad in my opinion if you tweak the trebble and bass etc, its also made by kenwood. The speakers let it down. Im going for a total speaker change in the new year.
Very very happy with it, Especially with the addition of the phone unit as mentioned else where on the site.
