InCar PC
I have been looking at minit-IX pc's for some time, but have been thinking of putting one in the car.
A collegue has just purchased a £50k Lexus with all of the GPS/TV/reverse cameras in.
I would like to put a similar system in the car but more of a custom PC build.
I know a 7" TFT screen will fit in the original Double din stereo slot, i can located the PC in either the boot or under the passenger seat.
But what i am stuck on is:
Software for GPS Navigation, Media Interface software, reverse camera interface etc.
Can anyone offer advice on this aspect.
I am keeping the original head unit and place a motorised screen in the top slot, and all audio will go through the stereo aux input.
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
Thanks for the reply i have had a look thorugh your side, and the only software i see you running is Roadrunner. i have also looked at mediacar. I have got test rig setup at home running via a MS remote at the moment as i have no touch screen.
The problem i have got is which navigation software to use, and how this interfaces with the media frontend.

I have sent you a PM with my MSN log-in. It may be easier to chat via that. navigation is very easy and integrates fully with RoadRunner. RoadRunner controls everything i need and i have a FULL system.
RoadRunner is known as skinnable, so you can create skins for whatever application you want. As i say i have GPS navigation so can assist.
Where in the UK are you ?
