Default Kenwood DPX-701U

Has anybody got one of these or know anything about them. Just seen it at

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/prod...oducts_id=4923

and quite like the fact it has a USB Connector as I have loads of these.

Any comments?

Cheers

I've ordered one from a local store.
Been promised it now for nearly a month. Kenwood have a major supply issue.
According to the store, they have launched a load of products together instead of unit by unit (or something along those lines).

Rang on Saturday, they are going to talk to the Kenwood rep this morning and will let me know what he says.

I also considered this unit, but got fed up with waiting.
So I got one of these intead...

http://www.clarionworld.co.uk/stock/wxz468rmp.asp

Clarion WXZ468 2 DIN 6 cd changer with MP3 capabilities.
I can fit around 34 albums on the six cd's - only problem now is too much choice ! Fitted very easily into my MY06 Impreza, and does'nt look out of place.

HTH...

James.

Thats the unit Subaru UK are now selling aswell.

I did order one, but didn't like the look of it one bit I'm afraid, so back to Subaru it went.
Having said that, it does appear to be very expandable - Bluetooth, MP3, CR-R & RW compatible etc.

yes, I have to admit it's a bit 'retro' looking... but then maybe that'll put the thieving scum off

Easy to use though with the 'twist' style controls rather than buttons,
and I'm pretty happy with it. Being able to have 6 CD's worth of MP3's is great...

BTW Subaru are selling them for £350, were as on the net, they are around £280....

Urban,

Yes. I have one. Brand new in it's box unopened in an unopened plastic bag. Nothing wrong with it but work overseas means I'm selling my car & the unit I was going to fit into it!

Please contact me if you want it. I've sent you a private message on this board so you have mail.

Simon

Simon,

I've sent you a PM also, but unfortunately I've lost the original PM with your contact number.

Could you let me know again please.
I did try and ring the place where you've left it, but he wasn't sure what you wanted for it.

Many thanks,

Shaun
