Hi there,

I'm thinking to buy a CD/MD Player from Japan. Does anybody know if there could be problems connecting it (e.g.difference in voltage) and is it possible to make the radio work? I heard that they're using a different transmission frequency. Could this easily be replaced to make the radio work in Europe??

Thansk for any advice.

Ramon

Yes you can get a Frequencey expander. This will sort out the radio. But WHY?????from Japan. Can you not buy one where you are???
Or do you need one of the funny size ones with built in T.V, Microwave and washing machine, With a display so bright you have to wear Sun cream!!!

Secret Karaoke Fan? Maximum Impact in Leeds had a car in for an alarm with a wonderful head unit that, yes, did have full karaoke functions...

The frequency expander is the important bit as Luke says.

Hi Luke,

Thanks a lot for the information, and yes I am going to buy one where I am currently and that is.....Japan.
So why buy one in Europe for a price when I can get a much better one for the same price?? And anyway the players they have here will be arriving in Europe 5 years later.

Thanks anyway,Ramon
