Can anyone advise as to how to cure my little problem.
I have just purchased an STI 7.
All is fabulous except the radio has difficulty in holding on to stations or sounding like it has an arial atatched, almost like the coax isn't properly fitted.
Mayby the booster isn't working or the window arial is crrrrrp.
Also the expander or two aren't doing the job properly.

What do we think friends?

PS. I don't want to change the unit as it looks good and sounds better. It also has MD and CD built in.

 

The window aerial, as you put it, is crrrrrp. They don't really work very well. Always worth checking for a dodgy connection, though. Failing that, if the radio's important to you, get a real aerial!
