Default ohms question

I just got a vibe cbr12 twin sub woofer box.. the box contains 2 x 4ohm 12" subs.. it has 2x sets of connectors for the speaker wires.. if i connect a single speaker wire from "+" of one to the "-" of the other, then connect my amplifier to the other two, + to + and - to - will this then make the speakers impedance 2ohms?

ohms law > me =)

thanks in advance

If you want 2Ohms, then connect both '+' together on the 'speakers and wire it to the '+' output of the amp. Then connect both '-' together on the 'speakers and wire that to the '-' output of the amp.
