got an alpine in my motor though wont be buying another to replace it, always feel with an alpine to get a smooth sound from them you need a big system, head unit vs headunit on a stdish (4 speaker 1 sub 2 amps) system prefer the sound of panasonic headunits-dont get me wrong alpines are good but sometimes that clear you lose some of the smoothness and it becomes a bit harsh almost like theyre lacking a bit of midrange-my next choice will definately be another panasonic (had one in previous car)

Just to make it even harder for you to decide...I'd go for a Nakamachi H/U. Doesnt have all the fancy features and gucci looks but for sound quality you cant beat it.

The nakamichi looks like the dogs danglies, if I could afford one I would definitely get one of them

As for panasonic, I have had two, and both broke just a couple of months outside of the 1 year warranty.
