Question

Hi folks, newby question if you all don't mind.
I am getting my 94WRX next week, complete with one of the worst excuses for a stereo in that I have ever seen! I am assuming that there is a default connector block on these cars, if it has not been hacked away.If this is the case, is the Autoleads adaptor connector lead compatable? I am assuming that the wiring arrangement/ connector is the same on the jap as the UK car.

Thanks guys.

Nick

I've put an ISO wiring block (as it should be for all Scoobs) on my website. Check out my profile for the address.

Mr Footlong,

MY95 Jap imports do have a poor excuse for a head unit, yes You can get an adaptor from Autoleads, I'll even admit to using one of these! Guess I got tired of messing around with soldering irons... also I was at the time thinking about refitting the head unit when I come to sell the car. I think that is now a pretty moot point... I could have a competition "spot the original bit on Pat's car" I think it will end up as a rally car... one of these days I'll drop it off at Safety Devices to get that weld in roll cage fitted :-) But back to the point, the autoloeads Impreza to ISO converter will do the job nicely :-)

Cheers,

Pat.

Talking

Schtarr. Just the exact info that I was after!

Got / grew out of the hacking technique when I got away from metro's and mark 3 escorts! Not too fussed about whether or not it is the world's cleanest, best conducting solution, will be good enough for now. Thanks again
