Did you connect the powered antenna lead to the amplifier?
new age sccobs have an amplifier on the antenna that must be powered.

Hope this dont sound too stupid, but I have the same problem.

So with an amp, both the original wire and the amp remote wires have to be connected to the powered antenna lead.

I just assumed it was a dummy wire, especially as I haven't found the antenna yet let alone knew that it was powered.

no wonder **** all works in my car.

The new age antennas are in the rear window above the heater elements, and the amp is tucked under the rear shelf in the boot. Took me a whileto find the dam thing as well
