Default Double din security

Im thinking of buying a sweet looking alpine double din from a mate, my only concern is that having no removable front or anything that any potential theives looking through the window, might decide they would like to own it themselves, and increase the chances of the car getting broken into!

Whats your thoughts? do theives over here tend to take an interest in double dins?

cheers

If they see it, they will think that they can nick it.

I'd definitely get something with some form of removable security. If nothing else, it'll make 'em think.

hmm most iv looked at dont have any really! But the way they are fixed into the car makes them hard to nick compared to UK slide in/out ones! but i stil dont want any smashed windows!

I suppose the tints would make it a bit more difficult to see inside! and thinking about it, would prob make smashing the windows much harder!
