Hi guys,

Have been looking at the AVIC-X1 unit as I need satnav etc in the new company pickup thingy. I use TomTom in the Impreza but I just fancy one of these....

Has anyone got one, and is it any good?

My main question is does it do voice directions like TomTom 3?

I fitted one of these into a merc not long ago,it does give you voice directions and is a hell of a lot better than tom tom,can be a pain to wire it all in but is worth it! you can get a tv tuner for it aswell and obv its a dvd player,its touch screen etc. this really is an amazing stereo!

 

ive got one of these,possiblly selling it soon....im not sure why i bought it in the first place....its less than 6 months old.....anyone intrested give me a shout.....r25st1.
