Question Will a 6.5" fit in the door of an MY05?

Without altering the door card?

"possibly"

Depends on how deep the 6.5" midbass is.

Thanks Chiark, I'm been asked to fit a set of Boston Pros into someones car and they are deep; around 60mm deep and I don't want to remove the door card to find they wont fit without fouling.

I remember it coming up sometime ago but I don't recall anything being substantiated.

They will be a tight fit. Personally, I think you'll be needing a 12mm baffle, and I think you'll need to trim a little bit of plastic from the rear of the card from them.

I would say "take 'em off and have a look", but by the sounds of it you're doing this for someone else so don't have the car?

That's right I have nothing to look at until I get to his at the weekend and I didn't really want to spend a while looking at it only to say we need to do plane B! Ohwell, not too much bother he just may have to be patient if they really are that big.
