Default Grrrr! Please help me with my bugeye speakers

just bought some replacement speakers for my 2001 bugeye uk wrx spent a long time fiddling with them, the holes dont match up but they came with some adaptor plates which i managed to get 2 out of three to line up checked that the door cards fitted back over (new speakers have raised tweeter in middle) door card fitted SWEET!

have you guessed yet?

wound window down to hear nice cruncing noise at bottom

DOH!

hid damaged speaker and promptly returned to halfords

so my question is what speakers will fit please? money no object

sounds like you needed a spacer to move the speaker proud of the metal work...

However, if they have been taken back, Infinity 605cs are the speakers you need for the front doors. 95RMS, they are loud and sweet. I've had them in all my impreza's. About £90 I believe.

Yup, 605's in my MY02 as well, been in over a year no problems. I think I used 12mm MDF as a spacer.
