just ordered my 04 WRX for delivery soon, but as we all know the standard audio is pants. what can you recommend to improve the sound quality without spending too much, say £200-£400? will just new speakers be benefical or a complete upgrade?

Then just add some Kenwood speakers

The extra space created can be filled with either an oddment tray or a SECS data monitor.

don't buy anything that says kenwood on it

get an alpine HU around £200

spend £100-£200 on some front speakers

disconnect the rears

save up for/ask for a pressie - a 4 channel amp and a sub
