just got a dvd and a screen i would like to hear the sound through my speakers but i dont want to have to buy the £150 switch over box and i dont want an amp to mess about with how else could i do it

 

Which screen?

Does it have a built in amp? Does it replace or complement the existing in-dash unit?

Many different ways to do this, but we need to know what you're trying to do

 

Get an fm modulator, around 50quid, will convert the Red/White phono leads to an FM signal through your radio at about 88MHz, just set it to preset 6 and then turn your dvd on and press 6 then hey presto, sound. Box fits in line with your aerial lead and has 3 other leads to fit, power, remote on and earth, very easy to fit

 

that is if it complements the existing unit, if it replaces, then you would not have posted I guess?
