Default Amp Settings?

On the back of Amps there are a few little dials with numbers on them. Does anyone know what they are ment to be set on or how to work it out etc..

I depends what amp it is?

All amps will have a gain/input sensivity dial. This will make it louder. It's a good idea not to turn this up to full.

Your amp might also have a bass boost dial. I tend to avoid using these.

You may also have crossovers. These may be high pass, low pass and possibly variable. These are used to cut out the frequencies you don't want. For example, on a sub you would use a low pass filter at 80Hz to cut out all non-bassy stuff.

Perhaps do a Google search for you amp. You may get an explanation of your particular 'dials'.

Gain is critical - read a few faqs and you'll get instructions on how to set it properly.
