Default ICE novice requires advice....

Guy's,
I don't normally 'do' sounds, but I've managed to wreck one of the standard rear speakers in my uk my00 saloon, so the question is this;
What do I replace them with?
I don't need top qualoty, just something acceptable, that will fit easily enough.

Cheers.

Ron.

Cool

I have 2 pairs of Alpines that you can buy. They are standard fit for the classic early import so i guess they will be the same size as yours but i can check that of course. only used for a little while before my car was written off. they are 60W RMS, 3 way and very adequate. I paid £60 per pair from halfords but I'd accept £60 for both pairs.
If you are interested I can send you some pictures and specs etc.

contact me on stephen.fantom121@virgin.net

Regards
Steve

Then either leave it just the fronts, or treat yourself to a decent pair for say £50, and put these up front. One decent pair will sound much better than two crappy pairs of speakers. (I'm assuming you spend most of your time sat in the front of the car and not the back!)

Cheers,
unfortunately I spend very little time in the back seat, might go mad and get four reasonable speakers!!

I'd defo try just two first. Sound quality can suffer with additional sets of speakers, and spending half your budget on each pair obviously leads to a major loss in quality.
