if you have a good palm or ipaq - stick in tom tom 3.... it's very good.

other than that the new pioneer avic-x1 seems to be the single din daddy at the moment. I'm looking at the kenwood kvtdvd915 and 3200 sat nav unit.

regards

what exactly do you mean by single din?

because there are units which retract into the din which require further hideaway boxes and there are non retracting units which have a smaller din size display such as from becker, pioneer and blaupunkt, all of which are fairly good. The actual din screened are generally cd based rather than dvd and arent as good.

The pioneer is about the best and fastest I have seen so far.

sorry should have made myself clearer I was thinking of units with din size display as it's to go in a 911 and a full size screen would cover alot of the controls
