Question Denison ICE-Link for iPod

Does anyone know if Denison are planning to bring out a version of their ICE-Link iPod system for Pioneer head units (12Lee are you out there )? It looks like a really good implementation, but I don't really want to have to change my head unit so I can use it (which is also the main reason I haven't bought a Denison mp3 unit )

Thanks,
Iain

Pioneer is not on the near/mid term road map. In the short term (8-12 weeks) you can expect an aux-in ice>Link which will also carry out charging and power management via the head unit remote on connection so that the iPod powers up/down with the head unit. You could use this with for example the Pioneer RB20 aux box.

Thanks. I guess an aux-in solution is better than nothing. Any idea of the likely cost?

In line with the current unit as the platform to manage the power signalling is the same as that for CD changer translation.

Has anyone tried one of these? How's the quality, easy of use?

I'm thinking of getting an iPOD, and would want to swop it between my A4 and missus' Merc CLK, so this looks like a good solution...

can't seem to get to the Denison website to find out anymore about it though....(maybe a Pipex problem as it's a few websites I can't get to)

regards,
greg
