Question Video boost guage

I have a Pioneer DVD player with a built in screen. What I want is the boost to show on the screen like they do on the fast and the furious.

Any ideas

Cheers

Andy

Yup.

Add a PC with video out, and add DeltaDash to the PC. Connect PC video out to screen.

Cheers,
Nick.

Indeed. A small point, but a good 'un.

If it isn't, then you'll have to hack some software together to interface to ScoobyMonitor (http://www.scoobymonitor.co.uk) on the RS232 port and display the output in a fast'n'furious stylee

Cheers,
nick

Cool, that piece of hardware looks ace Is it possible to buy pre-assembled ones, or do I have to build it myself (Would have searched the archives, but as you probably know, the search is fcuked at the moment)

Drop Andy a mail. He's an enthusiast doing things for enthusiasts as projects, not out to make shedloads. I'd say he may well sell 'em

Bugger, he's not replying to the email

Does anyone know if it's compatible with a 2003 uk wrx (yes, I can see the comment about my99 onwards, but surely something changed with the ECU when the subaru became an insect )

No, it isn't compatible.

I'm literally a gnat's **** or two away from starting to work out what the protocol is. The BAUD rate is apaprently different, but we'll crack it.
Cheers,
Nick.

Question

Just a bit confused chaps. This scoobymonitor looks like an excellent project. But is it compatible with MY00, or is it just MY97/98?

Just MY97/98 at the moment IIRC. I'll try to get hold of Andy, but this is just a background project for him so he may be rather difficult to get hold of.
Ta,
Nick.
