Exclamation

These do fit behind the door handle grilles on a MY00 don't they ? I mean, I not going mad ?

Only, I paid for it when the car was new 4 months ago and have just had the door handles off (squeek hunting....) and, er, no tweeters ! Shows how tuned in I am.

Maybe they fitted them in the pedals, or the headlining.

Cool

My Jap import WRX IV came with front door tweeters (Clarion).
They've just come out and so are hence 'spare'.

That's odd - I just moved up here from North Hampshire to work on Teesside !

Btw it's worth noting that things will sound much, much better if you place the tweeters on the trim behind the door mirrors - made a massive difference to my set up. The trouble with the normal door positions is that they actually point slightly downwards - a disaster in audio terms as you want the tweeters broadly pointing at you to get the stereo imagery. And my ears are on my head, not my knees

Just had all my speakers changed - definitely no tweeters in MY00 in door handles.

There are now though - so much better
