Question

I'm now looking to upgrade my standard speakers.
Looking back through the archives, 6x9's seem to be the preferred option.
Can anyone advise on the benefits of 6x9's over round speakers?
Any recommendations greatly appreciated
Chris

Depends to some extent if you've got a sub. I have one in the boot, and get much better sound removing the rear speakers altogether. If you don't have a sub, generally 6x9s give better bass and louder volume (if that's important), but you may need to either cut the metal tray, or make some spacers to fit them.

Cheers
Richard
