STi8 MY03 Speakers
#1
Judging by quality of previous systems in scoobies I'll probably be looking to change bog standard radio in STi8 Type UK, any recomendations, what have others installed?
Not looking to go mad, just want good quality sound!
I notice speakers are in the doors front and rear, are there apertures on the rear parcel shelf too for potential to hook up as a 6 speaker system (in addition to components in the front?

Nakamichi... get a CD45z
Awesome bit of kit - great sound - all the bits you need to set up an awesome install
BUT
If you like the dancing dolphins and funky dials look elsewhere as the unit is plain (but won't attract attention to would be theives the way an alpine unit would )

Scooby,
Yes there are apetures in the rear metal shelf for speakers, however you will have to do away with your child seat "tethers" in order to fit them.
Furthermore, the metal may require slight cutting to fit the 6x9's if thats what you fancy, unless you make up a spacer and have them sitting slightly proud.
