Have Subaru changed the Radio conection on the 03MY car?

I'm trying to fit an Alpine Head unit into the car and the converter I had for my 00MY Impreza doesn't seem to fit.

Other than requiring the permanent live feed to be taken dierctly from the battery, my Apline 9813 seems to fit OK with the standard Autoleads PC2-44-4 adaptor.

OK, I haven't got it working yet, but I don't think that is down to the adaptor (all the bits connect 'correctly')

Will know more when dndservices in Stevenage fit the head unit for me on Monday.

I went for the 9812, but the wiring harness concerter from my old Sony doesn't fit.

You gave in with the install then?!!!

Wink

After blowing fuses and setting the alarm off, I thought I'd better employ a proffesional!

Also having Focal 165 V2 slim's fitted as replacement for front speakers as well.

Either be a happy bunny on Monday evening or not (depending on how the install goes!)

I'm relly not being sarcastic here - but if, like the Alpine, your Sony's wiring block is removable, you're not trying to connect the end of the Sony cable into the 16-way Alpine connector are you?
